About

Reverend Bolívar Flores is a distinguished figure in the theological, community, and humanitarian spheres whose leadership has profoundly and consistently impacted communities across the United States and Latin America. He emigrated to the United States in 2004 and, guided by a deep spiritual calling, pursued his theological education at the New York Theological Seminary, where he earned a degree in advanced ministerial studies. In 2017, he was ordained as the Senior Pastor of El Ministerio El Sol Sale Para Todos Internacional, from which he leads a vigorous evangelistic mission and a steadfast commitment to social justice.

Throughout his ministerial journey, Reverend Flores has provided pastoral guidance, spiritual care, and direct support to thousands of individuals across the United States, Latin America, Central America, and South America. His unwavering dedication to the holistic well-being of marginalized populations has earned him a solid institutional track record. For eight years, he served as Vice President of the Coalition of Pastors and Ministers of the State of New Jersey and currently serves as the Chief Chaplain of the City of West New York. He also holds the position of Chief of Staff at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a statewide nonprofit organization supporting individuals reintegrating into society after incarceration. Under his leadership, NJRC has served over 27,000 participants, offering second chances grounded in dignity, structure, and social vision.

Reverend Flores is also a member of the leadership team of the New Jersey Coalition of Religious Leaders and serves as Board President of Camioneros Unidos, a prominent labor and advocacy organization with over 1,800 affiliated drivers.

His strategic vision was instrumental in forging the historic agreement between NJRC and the Coalition of Latin American Consuls of New York (CLACNY), through which consular documentation has been facilitated for immigrants from 17 countries who have undergone judicial processes and incarceration. This collaborative model has strengthened ties between consular diplomacy, restorative justice, and community reintegration efforts.

In his institutional work, Reverend Flores actively serves on the boards of universities, hospitals, law enforcement bodies, and cultural organizations. He chairs La Magia de Las Bellas Artes, an initiative that promotes the arts as a means of healing, dignity, and inclusion. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Task Force on Wealth Disparity and Criminal Justice, and has been honored by the United States Supreme Court with the distinction of being selected to participate in the selection process for two federal judges.

In the field of communications, Reverend Flores launched his radio program Open Conversation with Reverend Flores in 2023, broadcast every Friday at 6:00 p.m. Through this platform, he promotes critical thinking, civic engagement, and spiritual reflection—interweaving faith, social justice, and moral leadership.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

Isaiah 40:31
