Who We Are

The Andean Human Rights Coordinator in the United States and Canada (CADHU USA & CANADA) is an organization dedicated to promoting and defending the human rights of Andean communities in North America. With an active presence in the United States and Canada, our mission is to build bridges between communities and provide a space for participation and mutual support.

La Coordinadora Andina de los Derechos Humanos en Estados Unidos y Canadá (CADHU

USA & CANADA) es una organización dedicada a la promoción y defensa de los derechos

humanos de las comunidades andinas en América del Norte. Con presencia activa en Estados

Unidos y Canadá, nuestra misión es construir puentes entre comunidades y ofrecer un espacio

para la participación y el apoyo mutuo.

Vision

Our vision is a society where all members of the Andean community in the United States and Canada live with dignity, equality, and justice. We aspire to be a leading organization in human rights defense and in building a supportive, inclusive network that respects cultural diversity.


Mission

The mission of CADHU USA & CANADA is:

  • To defend the human rights of Andean communities in North America.
  • To foster the cultural and social integration of our members.
  • To provide resources, support, and education on human rights issues.
  • To represent the needs and concerns of our community in political, social, and economic spheres.

Human Rights Principles

Our work is based on the following principles:

  • Human Dignity: We believe in the inherent value of every person and work to ensure everyone has fair and equal opportunities.
  • Equality and Non-Discrimination: We promote equal rights without distinction of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.
  • Social Justice: We advocate for fair access to resources and services that enable individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Participation and Solidarity: We encourage active engagement within our community and work in partnership with other human rights organizations to maximize the impact of our actions.

Activities and Programs

  • Advisory and Training: We offer workshops, courses, and training programs on human rights.
  • Advocacy and Representation: We engage in advocacy campaigns with government bodies and international organizations.
  • Community Support: We organize events and activities that promote unity, respect, and the cultural identity of Andean communities.

Future Goals

  • Expand our network of allies and strategic partners.
  • Increase community participation in human rights activities.
  • Strengthen CADHU USA’s presence in political and social decision-making spaces.
